It is important to note that utility lines can carry electric loads from 7,200 volts up to 12,400 volts in residential areas. If there larger transmission lines in your area they can carry up to 230,000 volts of electricity.

It is important for you and your family to understand that if you see downed power lines in your areas, stay away from them.
